[Taking a look around. Just wandering.]
angustifolium: Reid looking startled, facing left. (Feat of association)

[And Spencer was walking, looking up at the sky, seeming slightly panicked and squinting against the sun. The bad part? He completely wasn't looking where he was going.]
angustifolium: Reid biting his lips, looking right. (Change the things I can)

Oh-- Oh, I-- Sorry, I was... trying to find my dragon, sorry. [And he said it like it was completely normal, giving the man an apologetic half-smile. She had to be somewhere.] Have you seen her? Little black dragon, about this long?

[He held his hands about two feet apart.]
angustifolium: Reid thoughtfully talking, looking at a crime scene. (Application of reason)

I don't really know? I just found her egg one day and she imprinted on me. I know she's empathic, both ways, so we're kind of bonded? [Wait a second. He looked over at the other man with a confused blink.] ...And you're... not confused at all about the fact that I'm trying to find a dragon...
angustifolium: Reid talking animatedly, gesturing with his hands. (Rarely think in words)

I've actually seen a few people with them - but mine's the only black one I've seen, and she's, um. She's full grown at her size? She's completely stopped growing, and I think she's, uh.

[This was the awkward part.]

I think she's looking for a mate. I got the feeling that she teleported outside, and I feel like she's around here somewhere, but I can't... see her.

[And so he was looking around at the trees, trying to pick out Curie from among the branches.]
angustifolium: Reid biting his lips, looking right. (Change the things I can)

I don't think she can cloak or chameleon or any of that - I just think she's being small and hiding in a tree--

[But that noise... Reid knows that noise, and while there might be a fluttering of movement and a sense of annoyance up in one of the trees, Spencer is staring at the little device, and then at the man holding it with an uncertain gaze. Was he seeing what he thought he was seeing?]

Curie. [But he's still staring a little, biting his tongue because...

Okay, he has a pet dragon, so he knows weird things can happen, but...

...But...
]

...Is that a replica?

[And that was the only reason Spencer needed to stare a little harder, with a small degree of wonder, and say--]

You're the Doctor.

[And Curie? Well, given that the two of them were empathically bonded and her human had just gone from suspicion to wonder, she was curious. With eyes swirling with colours, she looked down at the both of them, spread her wings, and then simply appeared on Spencer's shoulder, popping between the locations like it was the simplest thing in the world. Which, to her, it probably was.]
angustifolium: Reid smiling, daydreamy. (Have the courage to live)

No worries!

I'm Spencer Reid. Um. [He couldn't help a little smile.] Doctor Spencer Reid. And I... Yeah, I've heard of you.

[And honestly? He was a little bouncy about it inside, for all he wouldn't, he was determined, beg to see the TARDIS. Curie put her mating urge aside for a bit to watch her person, and to watch the person he was talking to.]

[Wandering is the word of the day, it seems. He just wanted a quiet, vampire-free walk in the park. Or what passed for a park in Vegas, at least. Nothing could bother hi-

Oof. Shoulder bump. Dammit.]

Why not look where you're going next time? Tip of the day. A freebie from me to you, mate.

[Not even looking up, he'll just keep walking. He doesn't expect to be recognized out of costume anyway.]
