[Hiro looks up from an issue of Iron Man; he holds it up for Peter to see.]

No, nothing good this week, Peter. I'm starting to wonder if...[He goes to push his glasses up the bridge of his nose. ] They aren't even trying anymore.

They're playing to a different readership, that's for sure. I feel like an old man looking back on the good old days.

Yes, there is too focus much as you say... [Hiro is trying to find the right words for, angst, in English.] They focus too much on the insecurities of the character anymore to sell a story. [He sighs.] I would rather see Tony Stark flirt with women and fight villains, than see him focus on father issues.

They've all gotten darker. But I can't seem to quit them, all the same.

Me either, even if the stories are darker. And, they still hold true to their moral codes.

Right, the Hero's Code. I'm not sure I've been following that lately.

[Hiro puts the latest Iron Man issue with the rest of his stash. He gives his head a curious tilt.] Huh? What has been happening, for you not to follow your Hero's Code?

I think he needs someone to believe in him, because he's better when he does.

[Hiro frowns. ] I can understand. But I still will keep a healthy distance from him. Between my power and what happened at Kirby Plaza, it would be better for everyone.
