Every hero needs a good villain.

You sure it's not the other way around?

I think it's pretty obvious what defines each role. The bad guys aren't called the bad guys because go around being cheerful and nice as they save everyone.

Hey, just because I offer the stereotypical image of a hero doesn't mean I necessarily believe in it. I know everyone can't be saved, but heroes try and that's what makes them heroes, right?

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say you've got something bad against the hero type.

Why?

Are you going to tell me next that mistakes aren't acceptable? What exactly are your intentions then?

[He gets an eye roll and a snorted laugh.] So that's it then? Just to survive the misdoings of those of the good intended?

Let me ask you this, if you had the power, would you make a difference? Maybe not, right. Because you don't want to end up like the do-gooders doing wrong?

Okay, yeah. Point taken. [But now that their on the topic, he's intrigued.]

For what reasons then? I'd understand if it really were because of the responsibility, it'd be a lot to take on.
rals: (cocky)

You have responsibilities either way, and there are ways to keep your anonymity. It's called wearing a mask. [He's just being difficult now.]
