I'm glad I surprised yeh. And Heed's race is pretty flexible under water, even if it ain't our best environment. Yeh bigger dragons like Smuag are probably more awkward that way.
*She was already losing the outer layers of her tunic so she could swim more freely in a more simply in her undershirt and trousers. Casting an amused look over her shoulder, she took off to leap from the rocks into the water. She had not been swimming in centuries, but it was too hot to stay out of the inviting waters.*
Heh! He sounds like a big guy so no wonder. Heed is happy bein' the size he is.
[Always the sort to show off and with nothing to remove the Dragon nimbly flew up and then straight down into the deep water like a torpedo. Thanks to his Dragon heritage he could hold his breath for a fair while and use the heat of his insides to keep himself comfortably warm under submerged as he looked for Tauriel.]
*Giving him a sideways glance and a smile, she took off towards the cliff, leaping and allowing herself to fall and splash into the waters below. It had been centuries since she did this, and the waters felt so very good.*
[Once he was close enough to her position he kicked nimbly up to the surface, awkwardly aware that whilst he managed diving and swimming fine, bobbing on the surface with his tiny arms and wings was a little more encumber-some.]
Swimmin' does seem relaxin'. And it's nice to see yeh smile again.
I suppose it comes with my role as Captain.... Everyone's worries become my own. I know I would likely catch an earful should my King or Prince discover me here. Swimming is hardly dignified "captain" behavior.
Yeh have many burdens as a leader, Heed understands that. But like I said when yeh were young, yeh shouldn't always care what people think. Even Captains should relax.
[ He has been standing quietly under the trees. No attempt at concealment, but not advertising his presence, either. Perhaps she has not noticed him, but then...who was she talking to? ]
I....well, I don't know.
[For such a tough-ass warrior as he is, he is looking very uncertain.]
*Glancing back at him, she smiled a little mischievously. She knew very well it was a rather... well, silly idea, really, hardly dignified at all. However, she was still rather young and impulsive, and it was entirely too hot today, even for elves.*
Not all of them. Yeh can be both ways far as Heed knows.
[He gave a expression which suggested trying to explain something out of her context.] Like... concentrated light? Or energy? If that's means anything to yeh. It's kinda impressive though, Heed breathes fire and still thinks that.
[He bobbed a little closer to her in the water before taking to the air , flapping his wings to get the excess water off.]
Well I'm a dragon who can be silly and kind too. We're going against type.
...kinda, yeh project the same way, though he can't control it so he needs a special visor... like a helmet for coverin' his eyes when he doesn't use them.
