Seven? Sounds like you've got a handful, but I'm sure they're lovely. [The hint of uncertainty there is only because Jan's experiences with boys is limited.] I have a daughter. She's all grown up now, but she was and still is pretty amazing.
They are. Though they are very much their father's sons. I have always wondered if a daughter would be mine in the same way my sons are their father's.
No... I do not think so. Since our twins were born, my husband has become otherwise occupied. I do not think there will be any other children born of us.
Perhaps. But we have seven already. I suspect he fears I may fade if we try for another. My boys are all very spirited, and I suppose they will be enough.
Ah. See, I have only sons. Seven actually. And while I love them all, I would not mind a girl among them. I think perhaps... she would be mind, as my boys are their father's.
My sons are bond to their loyalty to their father, and the oath he bid them take. Such is their fate, no matter what I may wish for them, or what they may desire.
I wish I could tell you that she would be, but I don't think my daughter could be more different from me if she tried. When I look at her, I see my husband and even my mother more than I see myself and her aptitude for science and mathematics certainly isn't me. I'm a fashion designer.

I dunno if I could handle that many boys.

Still... at least one girl would be nice.

You could always try?

I have foreseen it. I will lose them all.

I don't have any sons. Just two daughters.

You do not believe in such things?

It all depends, really. Some girls take to their fathers more.

Yes. But it's okay. One is still growing up, but we have a bond that she doesn't have with her father, and nothing is going to take that away.
