Sounds like a fault in the wiring somewhere, which means we may have to strip this whole thing out, which ... could take a while. But given that it's position dependent, I'm guessing inertia is causing some faulty wiring to shift slightly enough it's making contact with something else and causing the spike and the lag. ... course, there's probably a thousand meters of wiring in an x-wing, but we'll start with what's directly connected to the targeting computer and the weapons systems, yeah?
