What you're implying doesn't make sense and how my statement differs from the original statement does not make sense either.

It is exactly what my original statement indicated.

'Even geniuses can knowingly make mistakes' implies that while people think it's impossible for someone of a high iq to not make mistakes is not true, the fact of the matter is they do make them and know that they do infact make them.
