I had a fight with a dragon. I won, but my leg kind of lost.

Oh, okay.

"Sure you have. What's your name?" Because he doesn't recognize the kid.

"Whether you want to believe me or not is your choice. I know who speaks the truth here though." He chuckles. "My name? I have a lot of them and I doubt you'd believe me if I told you the truth of that too."

When I've got proper control of things, I think it's a much better plan. But... everyone's quite settled on it, and hardly going to listen to me about it.

Do... you talk to dragons?

"How come you're talking in riddles? It's kind of weird." And makes Hiccup nervous.

Richard is mine too. Sometimes teachers are nice.

Like a blacksmith made it? Hmmm, they have ones that are robotic too.

"I'm kind of a weird person." He laughs. "I'm Loki."

"Wow, your parents must have high expectations to name you after one of the Gods."

I'm a blacksmith, I made it. Ro-what?

Dragons don't talk but you know they have behaviors like other animals.

You really don't need a thicker spring kid. All you need is a small piece of metal to act like a speed bump or a hill. It will let you set the pace only moving the spring when you do.

No extra anything and you make only a small change to the leg itself so it weights the same.

Like, when you get to know a dog, or a horse?

Yeah, like that.

Huh, I never thought of that.

Loki grins. "Nah that was my brother. They named him Thor." There was a but of amusement in his green eyes. Oh this was so much fun.

*Tony kneels and taps the wood in front of the spring*

Right here. In fact if you have a hand full of metal scraps and some screws or nails I can do it right now,

I have some scraps left over from an axe.

[Hiccup gestures over his shoulder towards the forge.]

Let me take this thing off so we can do this. And uh, could you get me those crutches over by the door? I can help a little bit with them.

*Tony's eyes light up at the sight of the forge as he gets up to get the crutches*

Hey Thor wasn't kidding when he said this place was old school.

*He offers them to the young man the light from the doorway glinting off his arc reactor.*

That village elder who's visiting? The walking definition of Viking perfection? Yeah, I've met him.

[He takes the crutches, slips his prosthetic leg off and offers it to Tony.]

Though, I've made a few improvements to the forge so it's actually pretty up to date.

*Tony fights a laugh*

That's him but don't let Loki hear you say that.

It's better then the one I used when I made my chest battery here.

*he taps the reactor*

That actually does something? It's not a piece of colored metal?

[His eyes go wide.]

Are you a shaman? A witch?

Nope....I made this....see I get where you are coming from. The battery is keeping me alive.

*Tony smiles*

And no I'm not...I'm just really smart...like you.

I made a leg so I could walk not something to keep me alive.
