[Before now he thought of the Daedra as invulnerable demons, creatures that could not be harmed by anything on this world. Yet those screeches behind him, getting fainter and fainter now as they leave that hellish cave behind, seem to be almost... pained? And he did kill the Daedra's offspring. The proof of that still stains the lower portion of his body.]

[Finally they reach a ravine jutting out from all the snow and he eases to a stop, panting and lowering his head so Felix can slide down off him.]
