[Bart chuckled for a moment and shook his head before speaking up.]

Man that sucks, cause stimulating conversation can really help make the day fly by, or turn around an otherwise dreary day!

[Kate laughed and shrugged.]

I can get stimulating conversation elsewhere. Noh-Varr's good for other things.

[The young man smiled for a moment and suddenly vanished only to reappear a second later beside her, holding out a single freshly cut flower.]

Well perhaps I can offer my services chica, I can be quite the conversationalist!

[Kate's brows lifted at the action and she reached for the flower.] You're a speedster?

[Bart's eyebrow lifted this time as her question caught him off guard for a moment, but the surprised look quickly faded away as a cheesy grin took it's place.]

Yep, but not just any speedster...you're looking at the fastest man alive! But enough about how awesome I am, I'd much rather be learning more bout your amazing self!

Oh crap, forgetting my manners. I uh, i'm Impulse but you can call me Bart if you want.

[He gently took her hand and lightly kissed it before letting go again with a small chuckle.]

And who might you be?

And I thought Tommy was arrogant. [Kate laughed when he took her hand and kissed it. God, she did not want to be in a room with him and Tommy together.]

Kate Bishop. It's nice to meet you, Bart.

Oh I got my uh, my arrogant streak going strong but honestly none of that really matters in the end! All that matters is keeping the innocent people safe no matter the cost...figure I've got a few years left before I end up paying the ultimate price for saving someones life and honestly it's a price I'd gladly pay.

So in the meantime I try keeping things light, and dig keeping my teammates morale up. So being the wise ass and a bit of a prankster suits the purpose well enough...that said sorry if I offended you, and it really is cool meeting you Kate Bishop!
