Sounds a lot like my every night. Except I usually find myself watching the classics instead of horror.

That doesn't sound bad. Bogey and Bacall, Tracy and Hepburn...

The good ole days. Simpler times. Miss 'em desperately.

I couldn't possible relate. I'm a senior reporter for The Daily Planet. I assume you've heard of it.

The Daily Planet? Yes, even all the way up here in Dalton's Corner, Maine, we know about the Daily Planet. I think more people read your paper than The Times.

Well. It was taken away from me awhile. So now that I've got it back, there's no way in hell I'm taking it for granted.

Ouch. How did that happen?

Years ago, I found myself following the trail of a very, very controversial story involving a very, very powerful man. Before I could publish it, he found out and did everything in his power to run me out of town. I spent the next ten years or so working for the scum papers of the earth. Not a good time for me.

I'm so sorry. So much for journalists havinge the duty and the obligation to print the truth, huh?

Don't sweat it. I'm back where I belong now.

We do have that duty and obligation. Unfortunately, there are those who are hellbent on stopping us from fulfilling it.

Well, I hope they get what's coming to them.
