I'm sorry you are in pain, I'm afraid that I am in the same boat. But mine is sinking.

You're ill too? I am sorry to hear that. I hope your illness is curable... sadly mine is not. But I am having some new treatments that may help me.

AIDS. Blood sickness. The thing that keeps me alive..is killing me. What is it that you have, if you don't mind my asking.

My illness is killing me too - I have cancer. A brain tumor.

*softly* I am so sorry to hear that... you are so young.

*holds out a painkiller and a cup of water to him*

A little, thank you. The new treatments are a little hard to get used to, but I feel they are helping.

*sighs and tries to smile* I do hope the new treatments work.

*quietly* I’ll never leave you, John!

Strangely enough, I have faith in Dr. Kasabian. She is a spark of hope for all of us.

*lays his head on Zep's shoulder*

I have faith in her too. I hope she can help me. So I can stay longer with you all - you're everything to me - you, Amanda, Gideon and the new baby...

Ok, my new brother is different. He has bad dreams but he won't make sounds when they scare him.
