I ended up retiring from the force and opening a stand up comedy bar instead.

Wow. *blinks* That's a big shift.

I think some people call it a mid-life crisis. But basically I just figured that I wasn't the person I used to be. A change seemed necessary.

*sighs* I hope it ain't my "mid-life".

*chuckles* I think in your case it might be more like 'pre-life'. How old are you, kid?
