I'll bite. Tell whom? And what, even though that part's revelation is not all that implicit in the statement.

Haven't you noticed that there's a pair of people orbiting each other like two idiots in a Shakespearean comedy, yet neither of them seem to have a clue what they're doing?

Uh... Not that I'm the most perceptive about that sort of thing, but I can think of a few examples. And if you're thinking of what I'm thinking, it's more 'persons' than 'people' and I sure tried to tell him, but he's not exactly perceptive.

That last part, yes, I suspect you and I are thinking of the same two. And yes, I'd noticed the amazing lack of perception on his part. I'm not sure what it is on hers.

They both need bricks to the head. Or someone to tell them straight up and in no uncertain terms. Or both.

I'd guess not wanting to get him into trouble or something like that. I don't think she's behind on the... insights. She doesn't tend to be.

Being told like that isn't exactly something that'll necessarily make anything better. In my - admittedly, limited, about serious shit - experience, that only really works if they work it out between themselves.

That's possible. Considering what he is, and all the stories about consequences when such things happen.

Anything between them will only work if they work it out themselves, but sometimes people need to be helped to see or at least understand the situation a little more clearly. At the very least be led to understand their own feelings, though I think she's well cognizant of hers.
