Any time. [Pulls out her cigarettes and offers him one.]

shakes his head

How are you today?

[Shrugs before shoving them back in her purse and taking a drag on her cigarette.]

Good, I guess. Nothing bad happened so can't complain. How about you?

I'm well. Enjoying the water and the evening.

[Nods her head appreciatively.]

It's pretty nice.

It's beautiful.

Never really paid attention to it before.

Nonsense. Sit with me. See what you're missing.

[Checks her cell phone, thinking about it, then comes to sit next to him and watch the water.]

[sits closer, resting her head on his shoulder lightly as she listens]

touches his fingers to the small of her back

I've missed you.

I missed you, too, baby. How many years has it been?

Too many.

You been okay?

Here and there. Some times are better than others.

kisses the top of her head

Anything you need, ever...you got it.

[small smile, leans against him more.]

I know.

leans in to her ear to sing again, a slight smile on his lips

[grins and just sits to listen.]

Dance with me?

Of course.

pulls her to her feet and starts dancing with her under the moonlight, still singing

[follows his lead, just leaning into it.]

stops after awhile and just rubs her back

[leans into him with a sigh.]

Would you like to get some rest with me, sweetheart?

I think I would.

instantly takes them to his place, mainly his bedroom, where he lays her down on the bed

[stretches out slightly, before relaxing next to him.]

wraps an arm around her and holds her close, humming softly

[Drops off to sleep.]
