I would have to agree with you. I think the pace and intensity of the story were two of the best things about the movie.

And your thoughts are perfectly valid. It doesn't necessarily take a critic to offer insightful thoughts on a movie, just someone that can think and absorb movies well.

I'm always hesitant to go see historical type films. I always feel a little--dubious of Hollywood.
