*smirks slightly* You should see it during family reunions. They're used to me being the frail girl with leg braces and crutches. When I started being able to walk and get around without them I was either being called a faker or being told to sit and relax and not waste whatever good fortune I was having.

*Spike momentarily grimaces and clenches his teeth, then composes himself and rolls his eyes, lighting up a fag and taking a drag. As he exhales, he says in an annoyed voice:
