I absolutely despised Jacob all through the book series, and now I'm a little bit of a Bella/Jacob shipper (just a little), so yes! With what little he was given (a whopping three scenes) Taylor did a fantastic job. While physically Michael Copon would have been great, Taylor's definitely the better actor of the two, and I think in the end that's got to be the most important thing. Looking the part is great, but if you can't act...

I heard about this last night and was pleasantly surprised, simply because the actor that was rumored to replace him, Michael Copon, had been acting like an arrogant jerk on the internet.

I'm excited not only because I completely agree with you about Michael, but because Taylor got me to like Jacob. Something the books never could accomplish.

I know! I'm so excited. I kept reading about how hard Taylor was working for the role, and then reading the interviews with Michael and seeing just how arrogant he was....Yeah. I couldn't be happier Taylor's still got the part.
