Yeah, I can see that. I figure being in the loop gets old too. I think it's the pain of routine.

Then you should try movin' somewhere quiet and peaceful. It'll get you out of city routine in no time.

Any idea where I can find a simple engagement ring that don't cost an arm and a leg in the city or are they all going to break an old man's bank?

I think just me being there would ruin the quiet and peaceful. I'm one of those people chaos just seems to tag around behind like a lost puppy.

Maybe a pawn shop? Or an antique show. You could try the latter, and then make sure you get--or make up--a great story to go with it so it has sentimental value or whatever. Congrats, by the by.

Antique rings tend to be ridiculous looking. All fancy and filigreed. That's not my girl's style. Pawn shop might work, though. I'm not makin' up a story though, she'll know. Thank you.
