So, what makes you trust someone?

[identity profile] karaokekarma.livejournal.com 2009-01-09 01:45 am (UTC)(link)
Hearing them sing, or in Angel's case, try to.

[identity profile] vavarner.livejournal.com 2009-01-09 01:55 am (UTC)(link)
... you know you can trust people by hearing them sing?

[identity profile] karaokekarma.livejournal.com 2009-01-09 01:56 am (UTC)(link)
Sometimes.
Sometimes I just have to tell them that they're headed for a long walk off
a very short pier. Or that they've had too many Seabreezes to even find the right notes, let alone hit them.

[identity profile] vavarner.livejournal.com 2009-01-09 01:57 am (UTC)(link)
Oh wow... if I sang something, you could tell something about me? That's pretty neat!

[identity profile] karaokekarma.livejournal.com 2009-01-09 01:57 am (UTC)(link)
So I'll hand you back your own question, sweetie. How do you figure out who you can trust?

[identity profile] pencilsmightier.livejournal.com 2009-01-09 01:50 am (UTC)(link)
It's intuitive, I just kinda know when someone has my back.

[identity profile] pencilsmightier.livejournal.com 2009-01-09 02:01 am (UTC)(link)
*nods* But it took a little practice to get there. You make mistakes, someone does something bad. But next time, you're mroe careful about who you trust with what. Does thar make sense?

[identity profile] fritz4now.livejournal.com 2009-01-09 02:06 am (UTC)(link)
If they aren't me, it's a good start.

[identity profile] fritz4now.livejournal.com 2009-01-09 02:10 am (UTC)(link)
You can.
I mean, right now most people can trust me.

Time.
Honesty.

And if my dog trusts them.

Rather not.
That's where time comes into play. And the dog.

Time...an' f'me, touchin' someone, gen'rally.

[identity profile] touchme-n-die.livejournal.com 2009-01-09 02:28 am (UTC)(link)
*nods* If I had somethin' big goin' on in m'life, I believe I could tell ya an' trust ya with it. *smiles* An' I wouldn' of asked ya t'come back to th'school if I didn't trust ya.

[identity profile] sexxx-violence.livejournal.com 2009-01-09 02:20 am (UTC)(link)
I don't know -- different things, with different people. The fact that I know very few of them can actually hurt me even if they tried helps, but to be fair that's not trust, but a lack of fear.

What makes you trust people, Becky-babe?

[identity profile] sexxx-violence.livejournal.com 2009-01-09 02:33 am (UTC)(link)
*he nods* Not the worst way to go about it. See how the act with different types of people, compare how they act with you, and distill it down to its essence -- that sort of thing?

I don't know what you mean by 'anything'.
