*there is the sound of large wings and then sneakers hitting the roof with a slight thud, but the moment a person would turn to look, it's just very human looking Celeste* You know how to hide, girl.
Nat had been crying. Constantly off and on for the last few hours. She was shaky too. She didn't pay much attention to the flapping of wings but turned when Celeste said something. "I know. Funny isn't it?"
"Hiding so well no one can find you. And I'm in one of the places people usually look first. the diner. Except..above it." She wasn't making much sense really. "Lost and found." She snorted.
"Why? I'm a terrible sister...I'm a terrible girlfriend. " She shrugged a bit, but allowed the hand, not moving too much. She wasn't feeling so good. "Maybe people are right. Maybe Mat needs someone stronger."
"Honey, who have you been talking too that filled your head with such lies?" The hand moves and it's an arm around her shoulders, careful and light but there.
"It's true. I am. I can't even get my sister out of my dads. And Mat? He does. It's the truth.I try too hard." And then she was leaning against Celeste
"I should be able to get her away from him. That place. I should be stronger and make her see she has to" She frowned. "Mat doesn't have to say anything. No one actually has to say anything."
It took..several minutes for Nat to be able to get down off the roof but she managed and just shoved her hands into her hoodie's pockets as she started to walk.
"Oh." She cringed again and then sighed, stopping in front of the door before opening it and stepping in. Oh, she was so sure he was going to give her that pissed off look he had down so well. Yes, yes she was.
