Yes! The hard work part is what everyone always forgets! And the best part about working hard to earn your wealth is--you don't end up owing your soul to a djinn!

*grins* Yeah...funny story about the looking different thing.

Apparently the creature that granted me immortality and all that fun has no self esteem so when I found him I ripped him a new one. I'm now nineteen forever.

Huh. What sort of creature was it?

*pause*

I'm human until I'm seventeen. *laugh* We age slowly, but we stop aging at around 30.

Like many single women.

A demon who takes wishes too literally. I asked if he was a djinn and he said no. *shrug* No offense but I had to check.

I make a pretty nineteen year old. *said with a nod though she doesn't quite buy it herself*

I'm not offended. Though to be honest, you'd probably have been a lot unhappier if he were a djinn.

Along those same lines though--I'm going to have to look into this. Wishes are our territory. Don't need some nasty demons mucking things up. People already compare us to those lesser beings. *sniff*

I'd know more about it if the damn family that was taking care of me actually kept their Demon Watcher traditions. Sadly, they crapped out and failed.

You know it's really funny...there's all these demon hunter types running around here--and some of the think they need to go after me. That's always amusing. If I had my powers, I'd just phase out of there what that happened and leave them fuming.

Without powers--it's sort of like threatening to beat up the short wimpy kid in gym class. *eye roll* Only instead of beat up, insert "maim" and or "kill".

*scrunches her nose slightly* Ugh. Its sort of pointless when you don't have your abilities. You're right. Its more like bullying than anything else.

On a side note--they couldn't kill me anyway, no matter what for I'm in--why try?
