So it seems, I'm not forgiven.

That makes me sad to hear.

Yeah, me too.

But I can't really fault Eike.

No, I suppose you can't. Its still upsetting to hear.

The funny thing is--this isn't like him. He's not someone to hold a grudge.

And he was able to forgive me for the "smaller" incident--when he first found out about that--but once he got the full picture he's wanted nothing to do with me.

He did just learn a whole lot about himself, correct? Maybe he just needs time to process everything?

I'm not so sure anymore.

There's so many little twists and turns in all of this--to be honest...I'd be shocked if he changes his mind at this point.

Eike's already drawn up the paper work to have written out of his life.

Okay, with Eike there's a couple of things going on. One is the deal he originally made with me in 1584--eternal youth in exchange for his soul when he died.

Things got kind of buggered up, and he tried to cheat--and I wiped his mind of memories. Hence the whole--well, never mind that.

Secondly, is the deal I made to remain human. Part of that deal was that I am supposed to watch out for Eike, to look after him to a certain extent.

Eike doesn't want to be a part of either of these deals anymore.

Does that...make sense?
