Humanity isn't purely a destructive force.

No. They can create as well as destroy.

Or at least the potential.

I've seen them create many things over the years. They have the potential for more.

If only they would not substitute their reason with fear. Perhaps then they could continue to evolve.

They are not without hope. Maybe who first hated me, have welcomed me now.

They hated you? Why?

They were afraid and hurting. I was someone they could blame. I've forgiven them.

And they have forgiven you?

Some have.

Then there's still hope.

Even though I wish I could change everyone, I'm afraid I can't.

But being on the precipice might. This is only a delay. If humanity fails to change and adapt then there's nothing more I can do.

Perhaps I should be the one thanking you. You allowed me to see a greater side to humanity, one that would have otherwise gone unappreciated.

Maybe you could teach me more about humanity? Our knowledge regarding your species clearly wasn't as... complete as we'd like.
