Carter… Zkauba the wizard, his non-human incarnation in another dimension. There he looks like…an enormous insect *shudders again*

An enormous insect... very startling indeed! Then again, great Cthulhu is very startling to look at, but I find him rather majestic and beautiful.

The insect is …somewhat of Carter’s dark alter-ego *chuckle* Thank goodness, he can control it. Carter put Zkauba to sleep, so we had a nice chat. He still hopes to find his Sunset City.

Pickman is a very cute ghoulish one. *chuckle* He’s a friend of Carter, by the way. And ghouls dislike toad-things as well. That’s good! Cats of Ulthar and toad-things are natural enemies, so we’re glad to have such allies.

I'd enjoy meeting him. I'm intrigued by ghouls... the toad things sound yucky, though!

Humans are different to Old Ones in love. Adam, for example - he is so much more gentle than Idh-yaa!

*nods* I do know Adam! When he was in coma, I tried to wake him by singing some R’Lyeh spells! And he opened his eyes, you know! But he thought I was but a hallucination *giggles*

That's wonderful, that you could sing the R'Lyeh spells to him! I sang to him too, some of the songs of the Old Ones. He could not understand them, but he knows their meaning in his heart, I am sure.
