The reason why I was asking was I was listening to some stuff on the radio and I couldn't tell ya if I liked it or not.

Hm. What kinda stuff?

Lots of rock. Metallica at one point which was okay.

I've never really had the chance to learn what kind of music I like.

A lot of rock music is amazing. Just keep looking till you find what you like.

I dunno. Its kinda hard to do when every other song on the radio is about shorties and shaking booties.

Really annoys me.

Ever tried a classic rock station? Some of the lyrics are pure poetry.

I'll see if I can find one. And a good pair of headphones.

For me, my favorite song changes frequently depending on mood, what I'm into at the moment, and so forth.

Songs Mister Ellis sings tend to be at the top of my list.

My man, and one of the finest musicians around. He plays jazz and blues primarily, piano and saxophone like you would not believe.

I hear all different types at school all the time. I don't know what annoys me and what I enjoy. It gets all jumbled together.

I'm thinking Classical to counterbalance all the songs about booty shaking and 'where mah ladies at?!'

Thats a really good song. Sad but...I liked it.

I never usually like the songs where the guy doesn't get the girl but that was well written.

So thematically, you usually like songs where the romance works out? Are there any other themes you enjoy?

And did you like any of the elements of the music- the near classical violins, for example?

How about the pacing? Do you like slow songs like that, faster ones?

Songs with a harder or a softer beat?

I usually enjoy songs where the romance works out, yeah. I blame the fact that I've never dated ever, though so...a girl can dream, right? *small smile*

The violins were something I found really neat to have in with anything else. Its rare to hear that in songs sometimes.

*thinks* I actually think I'm partial to slower songs. Most of the time.

For anything else, I listen to Otep but thats only if I'm in a really bad mood.

I was listening to the radio and couldn't tell you what I liked. I didn't really ...react to anything. It was just noise.

A lot of newer music is like that. Unfortunate, but true.

All the songs sounded the same, too. Lyrics-wise I mean.

*nods* Booty shaking is apparently a goldmine for modern lyricists. Who'd have thought?

*laughs* Classical is sorely overlooked. And I'm not saying that because I play or anything, I don't - it's just... incredible how much the composers could express.

It is, actually. I might just have to stock up on that and blast it when the jerk I live next to blasts DMX.

Boarding school.

Cool. I kind of wanted to go to boarding school when I was younger. I thought it'd be fun. *shrugs* I think I read too many books about it.
