I always wanted to fly. So I did.

Unfortunately I had to bring an F-105 along with me.

I'm sure at least a few people haven't, probably.

Well, we're only human. But it's cool that you got to do that.

Mm-hm. Commercial flights. Used to fly to California every year.

California. What a place.

Really mild weather. Some of the people were off-putting, but that could be said of anywhere, honestly.

That's probably part of it, but... I used to fly a lot, in planes, and everything was just so pretty all the way up there. I think it'd be neat to be able to all of it at the exact same time.

Yeah; I'd fly to California in the summer to see my mom and stepdad. *grins and shakes his head* Oh, I was always the passenger. *smiles* It seems like it would be.

Actually, if I had to choose one, it'd probably some kind of ice manipulation or something. I just think flying would be really awesome.

There's only so much us mere mortals can do. It's probably why my friend writes comic books. If you can't fly, imagine a world where you can.

Small world, right? I'm afraid I don't know him, but it's always nice to hear about other comic book writers. Maybe I'll get to meet him sometime.

Maybe. People with common interests tend to gravitate toward each other. What kind of comic books do you write?

I'm only really working on two right now; one of them's the imaginary adventures of a kid and the other's the standard superhero sort of thing.

The first one sounds particularly interesting, I bet you could do a lot with it. Are they both in an ongoing series?

They are, yes. They're basically my main source of income right now, so they're going to be continued for a long while.

As long as your publisher buys them of course.
