You must be the sort who claims that you do not trust anyone ever.

I trust people that give me a reason to trust 'em, and I don't trust people that give me a reason not to. Simple approach but it works.

However, you just said someone lying is proof they cannot be trusted. Every single person lies about something.

Touche. I'll admit some lies serve a purpose, so I guess it all comes down to context.
