opinions on re-igniting old flames?

I'd say that depends entirely on how it was extinguished last time.

[identity profile] appropriate-act.livejournal.com 2009-02-03 05:32 pm (UTC)(link)
Are any of those still issues?

[identity profile] appropriate-act.livejournal.com 2009-02-03 05:36 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, if you're both in favour, then I don't see a problem. I'd just keep in mind that twenty odd years can change someone quite a bit.

One hopes you're not looking to make this a long term relationship, then.

[identity profile] appropriate-act.livejournal.com 2009-02-03 06:05 pm (UTC)(link)
That's a point in your favour.

Dangerous..

Possibility of your heart getting smashed into a billion pieces all over again. Or that might just be me.

[identity profile] cjsullivan.livejournal.com 2009-02-03 05:36 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, go for it then. But err on the side of caution.

I'm really not someone who should be dispensing advice for successful romantic relationships. I don't have a good track record. But good luck to you. I hope it works out.

Nice to meet you, Bryce. I'm Chloe.

And modeling? Me? No. Heh.

[identity profile] knowthenbreak.livejournal.com 2009-02-03 05:31 pm (UTC)(link)
I'd err on the side of caution. After all, there's a reason it went out in the first place.

[identity profile] knowthenbreak.livejournal.com 2009-02-03 05:35 pm (UTC)(link)
It's very, very unlikely that either person will have changed.

[identity profile] knowthenbreak.livejournal.com 2009-02-03 05:38 pm (UTC)(link)
It isn't entirely possible, but, as Jonathan has pointed out to me, the chances of a person truly changing what makes them tick, little habits and mannerisms and other such things is very slim.

[identity profile] knowthenbreak.livejournal.com 2009-02-03 05:43 pm (UTC)(link)
Then the relationship would likely follow the same pattern it did before.

[identity profile] knowthenbreak.livejournal.com 2009-02-03 05:50 pm (UTC)(link)
Most relationships end because of a difference in personalities.

So, she was petty enough to require someone with a lot of money. What is to say you won't be out as soon as she finds someone with an even bigger bank account?

[identity profile] broadsword-babe.livejournal.com 2009-02-03 05:51 pm (UTC)(link)
'S worked out fine fer me .

[identity profile] broadsword-babe.livejournal.com 2009-02-03 05:58 pm (UTC)(link)
Really...?

Well, Adam was always th'sort t'pitch up every now and again. Never really thought much about him romantically. Then th'last time we crossed paths, things just... fell into place. Y'know?
