Hmm. Maybe I'm not too creative, but I've always thought great books make even greater gifts.

I'm probably not the best person to ask, though. The only person I ever buy gifts for is my dad.

Any suggestions on the book?

Maybe it would be easier to take him for a nice, romantic dinner. Or... to be honest, I'm not sure. I think most of my ideas about this kind of thing come from the aforementioned books I spend way too much time reading.

No.. trust me when I'm grateful for any ideas. I bought him a mid-night blue guitar for Christmas, and thats only because he told me that was what he wanted.

I don't read as much as I should to be honest. I have a few old copies I like to re-read, and some audio books but... *shrugs* I prefer music.

A nice dinner? Maybe if it was just the two of us and our body-guards.... that'd be nice.

I think I read *too* much, so it all balances out. My dad got me hooked from a very early age, and we traveled so much that was sort of the only thing to do. *sheepish smile* And there's always the fact that I hide behind books instead of making new friends at every new school, too.

*shrugs* I read everything, from biographies to the classics to obscure poetry to political essays to trashy romances. I've even been known to pick up a reference book from time to time, though in my defense it's almost always for a distinct reason. I...

A favorite musician or a play perhaps, or a weekend getaway, if you can be sure he'll have the time off.

Thats a lovely idea. Do you have any ideas where we should go? I'm not much for traveling ideas, he's usualy the one who comes up with that kind of thing.

It depends on what you two like. You can rent a cabin in the mountains - Tahoe, Rockies, or whatever is nearby, or a cottage on the beach. If you like something more tropical, Hawaii or the Caribbean is very nice.

Some friends of mine went to Salaminos recently, and they said it's beautiful there this time of year.

Well... we just got back from a trip to SanFransico, and we spent a week in Hawaii for Christmas. Oh! *beams* I could take him to France! He has this little cafe there that he adores. And I could get a new corset to wear and... *beams* thank you miss!
