Claire? She's great of course. She's got a recital at the church this weekend, going to play Flur De Mal and what not. *smiles* Her class is going to the museum on friday, so I had to get off work and what not... *begins to clean it* does this hurt?

A little, I've god a bit of a headache coming on. Luckily I don't need stitches.

You know you guys are always welocome to dinner. John just closed a big case and so even he has some time off. I could make tacos?

It depends if Chuck and I have a free evening shift together. It's not always easy for us to have the same shifts off.

Same way he always has, work mostly, and then playing guitar with Claire.
He's stopped drinking again though, thats always a plus.

Claire is his daughter, she doesn't know any diffrent and she never will... *pauses* I don't know... I mean, it's never really come up for us. If it happens, then it happens, but... Claire is all his and he knows it.

I mean... like I said. It's never come up. With Claire we had such... issues I can't imagine having a posotive pregnancy.

I've always wanted a big family Maria. Mom dying and me being an only child made me want one. But my job makes it difficult.

I still don't see why you can't quit.

I'm sure you can find a less stressful job out here if need be.

Because if I quit my job I have to leave Chuck behind too.

I don't want to quit. I love my job and I always have. Sometimes saving lives is more important.
