I keep hearing great things about it, but I still haven't heard any of the music or anything. Dad's not too keen on more recent musicals, but - I'm always open to them. I love the play it's based on.

Oh, I love modern operas and broadway as much as I love the classics.All of them where written for the times, so when you hear them? You are taken back to the moment when they were written.

I tend to think so, too - I've always found something special about the feeling theatrical and operatic music can stir in you - it really envelops you in the story.
