But what if it just weirds her out? I don't even know if we're actually dating. We went to the movies last week and she all but bolted home at the end of the night.

This whole...thing we have...is getting weird. I'm such an idiot. I should have never kissed her. Now it's like we're over thinking everything.

She's my kid, what do you expect? The freaking out is genetic. Tell her how you feel, up front, and tell her that is isn't going to change anything except for there being kissing involved.

And if you do something that her father and I don't like, we'll be more inclined to break you in two.

*doesn't know whether or not Faith is joking about that last bit, so he decides to let it go*

It didn't with me and her dad minus the whole married thing. It's all in how you handle it. Don't give her the chance to freak. Take control and prove it to her.

Candy isn't for her, kid, it's for Dean. It's one thing to work for him, it's another to try and date his daughter. The hearts are to keep him off your back long enough to actually figure shit out with Mary.
