Birthday party for Valentine: good idea?

Parties are an absolute good!

Perhaps at the Loft?

Sounds like fun!
Who wouldn't like a party celebrating their existence?

I'll have to think of a gift...

Great idea. I say we keep all mentions of the holiday to a minimum. I think it would do him good for a nice big party.

Considering the holiday, though, I may show up late, or duck out early. Haven't talked with the wife yet, not sure if we're going to do anything.

And good idea to keep the holiday out of it and focus on Valentine instead.

A large party - who should we invite? Should we have it at the Loft?

Well, first instinct would be the Loft, but... we're always there, yeah? Maybe somewhere new. No idea where, sad to say. Problem with going outside the Loft is that we may be faced with pink hearts and decorations.

Hm.. this is true, and it's easy for most of his friends from other areas to get to the Loft...

The Loft would be easiest.

Yes! I'll make him a cake and a bacon turducken, and we can get Ellis to sing. He will love it!

Over th' phone?

Over the phone, via a camera and a laptop, via recording...he will be happy to hear your voice in any way.

Just make it a birthday party an' not a "Valentine's Day" party an' I don't suppose he'd mind.

Thank you- that is what I was worried about. I know he dislikes his birthday, but I think that perhaps a lot of that is caught up in the holiday. Hopefully he will enjoy a party if we can manage to separate the two.

Can't imagine why he wouldn't. It'll do him good to see all th' folk in his life there celebratin' for him.
