You're melancholy over
fish
?
*moves closer and shrugs* I'm all right. I don't like it when you're not happy; it worries me. What kind of special trip?

oh, i'll get over it soon enough, never fear!
how would you like to have a proper adventure? it might take some time, but could be a lot of fun!
OOC: i have in mind to write something. we could take in turns, if you'd like, posing in our journals? i have some ideas already... ;)

Well, there are some very dull planets out there, young lady. Isopherus II for instance. the inhabitants never get beyond the discovery of Slood.

easier to discover than fire, harder to discover than water. your people have not discovered Slood yet? they must be a backward lot.

Humans! ponderous, blundering, overly sensitive, loveable, and the only civilisation never to discover Slood.

And yet there are those out there who love us, they think we're brilliant and they love the way we look at things. The way in which we love to discover, to unearth, to experience.
