Oh, Friday I'm taking her for Chinese food. She got some crummy take out earlier and was sort of bummed about it so I want to take her to a place that I know is good. Saturday, we're just goofing off at home and maybe watching movies or making a mess in the kitchen.

Down to New Orleans to visit Mister Ellis for Mardi Gras!

She's a girl and a friend. And her name is Laura. She's pretty much the most amazing thing right now.

Oh, New Orleans is great. I've been to the House of Blues in the French Quarter. I mean I've been other places there too but I've been in the HoB for some good times. Never at Mardi Gras though. I've heard it's crazy there.

Haven't been to House of Blues, but I've been down there before to visit Ellis. This is my first Mardi Gras though- I'm really looking forward to it.

Drinking doesn't have any appeal for me either, I don't get what's so great about it.

I.. don't know. I'm a little nervous about that, to be honest. I'm sure Ellis'll keep any trouble away though.

As for me and drinking - well, I went through a phase where I did a lot of partying, but I got out of that a while ago.

Psh, yeah, I know the feeling - my Uncle Hans is still going on about making sure I stay safe down there - make sure you stay close to Ellis (like Ellis would let me out of his sight), do not drink (I keep telling him I don't), do not go with strangers (duh).

I'm not a little kid. I'm 20, you know? Oy. I know it's just because he cares, but geeze. A little faith.
