Me? Hanging in there...spent a few hours at work today, though I don't officially start my new job until next week. It was kind of miserable...not the job, that's great, it was a good day? But I missed my little girl. Separation anxiety, ya know?

That always helps some people.

Especially teenage girls. [Grins]

They are the worst.

Definitely. And loud, and don't like you coming around when they are on the phone.

*Laughs* Trust me, being a parent, I still deal with that.

Being a little brother is worse.

We plan on stopping in New York before heading back. She wants to shop at Saks.

*Laughs* Thank God the house is paid for. However we might have to hitch hike home if the spree in New York tops the one in Boston.

*laughs* That will keep you motivated to be careful I'm sure!

It's hard not to though. It's been a long time since we spent this kind of time together and under the circumstances of us being on this side of the world, I just needed to see her smile.

*nods* Sometimes it's worth the extra shifts you'll have to take later.
