*frowns* Think I should have told Pat we were doing this?

Ohh, right. *catches the Twinkies, but puts them back and rummages in the bag for the cupcakes and a Dr. Pepper*

It was kinda last minute. *looks over at her* Why, would he have really wanted to come?

*opens her own pack of twinkies, stuffing one in her mouth -- oh no, she's not her father's daughter at all*

*shrugs* I dunno. I'll just apologize a lot when we get back and promise he can come along next time.

*unwraps her cupcake, taking a bite*

That'll work. I mean, you didn't know whether or not I'd say yes to going tonight, so you didn't even know if you'd go!

So...we have at least an hour until the parents call...or so I figure...and by that time we'll be there. I figure we'll try to convince them we ran into people at Starbucks and are hanging out somewhere. And if that doesn't work...well we have a three hour lead on them
