*jogging through Central Park one morning*

[Facepalms a little -- she doesn't usually cat-call guys... Samantha would be proud}

[Is busy reading the New England Journal of Medicine with a tea, glances up]

*almost jogs by before he notices her*

Mornin' Peyton. Yer out here awful early readin'. *stops to rest a moment*

I thought that was you. Good morning, Danny.

You know what they say about the early riser..[Smiles]

*chuckles* Yep but I'd rather sleep in. I got work in a couple hours. *sighs*

Not me. I love mornings. That makes the two of us. [Gets up off the bench]

I love nights. Stayin' up late and sleepin' in.

*sitting on a park bench with her feet up, reading a novel and sipping on a fast food milkshake*

*sees him jog by and mischeviously wolf whistles after he passes so he won't know who did it*

*attention-whore that he is, he stops and fakes stretching, gazing around at everyone and trying to decide where that whistle came from*

*straight face, keep a straight face, she tells herself...the book gets closer to her nose as she tries to hide a smile at his antics*

*turns his back to the majority of the crowd and intentionally bends over, stretching of course, letting whoever whistled get a good look at his finest asset*

*smothers a snicker in the palm of her hand, trying to blend into the background with everyone else in the park*

(oh that's just silly now, he knows he's being watched)

*stands back up straight and stretches, turning to get a good look at everybody and pausing on the woman with her face stuck in a book*

(oh he definitely knows he's being watched, eats it up)

*tries to nonchalantly change positions...and promptly falls off the bench, splat! onto the ground*

"...ahhh...oof!"
*book is on the ground and milkshake is spilt over to the side*

*smirks since that mystery is now solved, rushes over and picks up book and shake*

Ya alright?

*reaches out hand to help her up*

*blushing terribly with embarassment*

...well I feel pretty dumb...but I think I'm alright...

*takes his hand to help her stand and takes her book back gratefully*
*book title: The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes*

*doesn't mention whistle but notices name of book*

Sherlock Holmes fan, hmm?

*smiles awkwardly*

Yeah, I'd already read it but it seemed like a nice day for a re-read.
