That'd take me right back to my 'old' self. I had hair down to my ass, wore eyeliner, played symphonic rock metal, trashed a lot of hotel rooms, forgot what day it is. Oh wait, that's me now, except with out the symphonic metal, eyeliner and long ass hair.

I know plenty of musicians up close and personal, rock star label included, and yeah...none of them would fine property damage awesome or something to boast about. My Da included.

My Da's the singer/songwriter for Breaker Street. Lead guitarist...all round pretty talented guy--I should be part of the PR team based on the way I'm talking...sorry.

And I make fun of him too, when he's in danger of being an emo musician. No one really likes those.

*Snorts.* I wish it were my schtick. If we were talking about photography I'd probably recognize the name, so there's nothing wrong with promoting, you never know it may help get another sale and another fan.

I don't think anyone likes emo, period. It sucks the fun right out the room. Which is why I'm trying to kick it in the backside.

Pick up a copy of Rolling Stone some time...nah, they really don't need me running my mouth about them. I actually like staying behind the scenes and away from that crap.

So...find something to be happy about and just...be. Works for me.

Rolling Stone is more my sister's 'porn' mag. Me, I perfer reading something like Digital SLR or Photo.

Lots of things. Stuffing my dog in my jacket and taking her for a walk, new sneakers, knitting something straight from a pattern and not having to rework any of the lines, spending time with Da just doing whatever, walking though the gallery exhibit of my Mam's work, hanging out with Laura, riding with Liam, surfing with my Ucail Tadhg...Aunt Cait calling me 'pet'.

No I'm not a musician, that's what I'm trying to say. But I do it anyway to make my sister happy which is the only important thing.

'Pet'? Yeah, that suits you. Simple things make you happy?

Aunt Cait would...I don't really know what she'd do if Da did anything just because it makes her happy. Probably look at him like he's crazy.

Yeah, why shouldn't they? Life is complicated and crazy enough. Simple, normal stuff is awesome, considering I don't always get to do those things with those people.

I know that look. I can't help it, I just want to make people happy.

It's odd, I can't remember what simple living actually is.

Spending time on my Uncail Anrai's ranch in the middle of nowhere Montana. Simple.

Now there's a thought, getting back to nature.

Must mean the likes find it hard to understand 'getting back to nature' isn't high on the list of want to do after all that.
