Why Thai?

I don't know, I don't really think I look Japanese.

Also everyone keeps talking to me about Thai food lately, I don't know what the hell that's about, but it's got my mind on it.

I don't think you really look that Japanese either. Maybe Cambodian with some Latino if it has to be Asian. You could charge people a dollar to guess.

I considered figuring out my geneology - my mother wasn't exactly forthcoming about such things, and I just recently found out some of the relations from her side might still be alive and well in the midwest. I'm considering getting in touch with them (eventually- I keep chickening out).

That's cool; do you know what your background is? I can see how it'd be kind of intimidating to contact them, but...you never know! Maybe it'd be awesome and they'd have crazy stories to tell you.

I know I'm German from my dad's side, and I think I'm like... Irish and maybe English and some Polish from my mom? Maybe. My mother's dead now and I don't really talk to my father, so... yeah.

Do you know your background, or are you mostly guessing too?

You are king of western Europe, clearly! I don't talk to my dad either, much.

Kind of. My mom's Italian, I think, so that's the start I've got.

Do you know what part of Italy your mom's ancestors came from? I know a lot about my German side, thanks to my uncle - he's um, pretty into that whole family background thing.

I think the north? Because that's where they have the light coloring, right? And she's got blonde hair. I didn't pay a lot of attention in geography, I guess. My mom probably wouldn't really know either.
