*collects a pamphlet* What're we protesting?

It is not so much that we are protesting against something--it is more a matter of us fighting for something.

Specifically...what are your thoughts on freedom?

Definitely something every man, woman, and child should have - within reason. Obviously we shouldn't have the freedom to run around killing each other or running naked through the streets with our hair on fire or anything.

*blink blink*

Why would you want to run through the--

Do you consider it to be fair that the rich continue to get richer while the poor are starving? What hope do they have of a better life? There is no equality--what are your thoughts?

Oh heck no - that's definitely not fair. I think the rich people should give to charity and help the poor people when they can - and that the government should take care of the poor better than they do.

My uncle's pretty rich, but he has a charity foundation to help the poor, so he's alright y'know - but most rich people really suck.

But charity can only do so much, and truthfully, it is not enough. And as long as find ourselves under the rule of a monarch--there is little hope of change.

A monarch - oh, wait, you're in some other country. Or like, the past -oh, sorry.

Our government sucks for totally different reasons- we got rid of that monarch business in 1776.

*slight smile*

Ideas on Freedom and why we should obtain it.

We don't have it already? Why should we obtain it? And how?

We should obtain it because it is man's right to be free from oppression. The current state of affairs is intolerable. There is no equality amongst men--it is shameful.

We shall obtain it by taking it.

Oh, I've heard this before. People get upset, get violent, get bored and then another fellow named Louis comes along and we settle down for a bit. And repeat.

You do not seem to have much hope for the future. But there is so much waiting just over the horizon for our people, if we just have the courage to make it happen.

I don't have hope, but I don't necessarily feel a lack of it. I know the past and am apathetic towards the future and therefore can simply see things how they are.

You are a student, yes? Study your history. We had the manors and then we had the estates and now we have the bourgeoisie and those above and below. We say we don't, but we like to keep things neat, keep everyone just where they were before. For every king we get rid of, another comes to take his place and we swear that this one will make it different. We can keep killing the king, but it won't change France. France needs to change itself first.

How large is your group?

We do not wish for the excesses of another '93.
