*shakes head* Nothing. I thanked him for giving me a ride home and next thing I know she says we're together.

With a big hug and a kiss. *pauses a moment and then chuckles*

Just kidding. He walked over to the park to get out of the lab. Told me to come get him when I finished up. He was sittin' with a co-worker and I walked up and said 'hey' to her and addressed him like always...'hey boss, ready to go'. *shakes head* She looked at me and her mouth fell open. *shrugs*

*chuckles* Not at all. I'm not sure when thanking somebody for a ride home made you a couple.

I suppose that would depend on how you thanked them. If I kissed Don a few times to thank him for a ride home, that could make someone think we're a couple, but I'm guessing that wasn't the case here.

Which brings us back to the original question. Why would she make such an assumption? *shakes head* You know what they say about assuming.

*chuckles* You got that same look I had after I asked he if was ready to go and her mouth dropped open. She wasn't subtle either.

Then I thanked him for the ride and said I didn't wanna be late and the next thing out of her mouth was 'you two...are together..right?. Then he said he was just giving me a ride home and she just said 'okay' and left. *puzzled*

Right... *looks even more confused* If I was in her position I would have assumed the same thing. Co-workers never ride together. *is clearly being sarcastic*

*snorts* Then I guess me an' Flack are together too 'cause we ride together all the time and me an' Adam must be together since we do, too.
