A friend wants me to go dancing with him, I don't know what kind.

You could ask. Cuz there's a lot of dancing. Salsa, polka. Hardstyle. I dunno.

It's kind of like DDR. On crack. It's a lot of... jumping and kicking.

I'm not... very good at it. But I know the steps. My sister had to learn.

Yes! A little. Topaz, our step-mum, was the one who knew all the steps, but I helped!

Like 'proper' formal dancing? Or just like in a club?

I don't know, probably formal as too much contact scares me.

Formal dancing tends to involve like having to have a partner though, right? Where as in a club well you can just dance on your own. Well not on your own but you don't need to worry about having to put your arms around someone, you know?

I don't get scared of physical contact with Billy. I trust him. In the club there are a lot of people though.

Oh right okay, you don't like going out where are lots of people? Maybe formal dancing would be better then, since that tends to me more...civilised?

Unless we're dancing somewhere alone.

That would work. In fact that sound sort of lovely actually. You should do that definitely!

Oh wow is not the plan? Sorry I just sort of assumed. Well if you don't want it to be like that then I guess you tell him and see what he says, yeah? Sometimes dancing's just dancing.

For the past week or so I've been living with him at his dads. He gave up his room but my nightmares he... Billy put pillows between us so I wouldn't get upset, sometimes at night I sleep holding his hand because it helps me sleep.

For Valentines he got me a kitten and I kissed him, next moment we were kiss, kissing and.. I've never kissed like that before.

I can't lose him.

You don't want to go out with him because it'll change things? You're scared that if he's something other than a friend you're more likely to lose him, yeah?

I think I kind of know how you feel. I mean friend's are more important than boyfriend's aren't they? Because in theory they're always there for you.

Have you told him all this? How you feel I mean?

No.

Bad things happened to me and he's the only good part of my past. If I lost him I'd fall apart completely. He is the only think keeping me together. I like him, I liked kissing him and he's nice to look at. [blushes] I walked in on him naked.

I don't know if I want it or not.

He sounds like my friend Chris. He let me live with him when I left home and looked out for me. It was nice, really, really nice.

I suppose you have to work out what you want to do. But Billy sounds like a nice guy, yeah? He sounds like the kind of guy that just wants to be there for you.

He is a nice guy, I don't know what I'd do without him. But I am scared of hurting him, of losing him.

Then I guess you just need to tell him that.

I don't know. Billy just said dancing.

Do you think it would be formal? I only know formal dances. And ballet, but I doubt he would take you ballet dancing. *giggles*
