(no subject)

Truly, I despise having writer's block.

Have you tried going for a walk?

[identity profile] poet-prouvaire.livejournal.com 2009-02-20 04:17 am (UTC)(link)
What are you trying to write?

[identity profile] poet-prouvaire.livejournal.com 2009-02-20 04:20 am (UTC)(link)
Do you write stories?
Or are you a poet?

*waves an ink-stained hand in an embarrassed gesture*

I try to write poetry.

What kind of stories do you write?

Try writing about something that you care about passionately. I haven't had writers' block since 1969.

"Spouting out nonsense" gets thoughts and ideas out, and it's where a strong and meaningful idea grows out of. Start with the nonsense and see where your mind heads.

Sure. I hope you completely benefit from it too. We need as many good writers in action as possible.

Me too. Have you tried drinking coffee while pacing the floor?

I hate when nothing seems to work. I hope the writer's block wears off very quickly!

*smiles back* No problem.

I'm Chloe. Nice to meet you. :)

You a chronic sufferer of it, too?
