No, I suppose there isn't. Someone asked what I wanted because I said people didn't seem to have what it was they wanted.

I said a simple thing like a kiss, one day a family to call my own and a husband who loves me.

He laughed at the fact I wanted a simple kiss. It was then he told me to go out there and meet people and kiss them. That prompted me to say that I do not want a meaningless kiss.

Your desires sound reasonable to me. I see no reason why anyone should laugh at you for clearly expressing what you want, and not being satisfied with anything less. As you've said, many people don't seem to have what they want - how much of that is because they settled for what they could get?
