Why the obsession with sex? Murder?

They're both very primal urges.

And it's easier to give in than have self control, is that it?

I wager so. It is also typically much more enjoyable. When one is restrained, it is a very pronounced feeling, and it can lead to an enhanced urge for whatever it is restrained from. Eventually, something, be it desire or aggression, will leak out. If one has learned to moderate these desires, it flows smoothly. If one has always been restrained, it may burst out, uncontrollable.

Well...[she frowns]

I don't think that I'll snap one day. I feel no need to fulfill any desires.

You may or you may not. They can be funny little things, creeping up on you before you even know it. Then you simply must have someone, must feel that flesh under your fingers, hear those exquisite sounds....

...[the frown turns into a scowl]
