Agh. Yes. I always feel like no matter who I'm talking to, they're not really listening, they're just acting like they are because of my husband. I don't fit in with that crowd at all.

Well... talk is a relative term. *chuckles* More like, they talk at me for what seems like forever, then ask me one or two perfunctory questions so they seem like they're interested.

Or, better-or-worse yet, I find myself in a group of a bunch of them and they're all going on about something that's completely over my head, and finally I try to say something and nobody even notices.

Perhaps if we are ever at the same function, we can find eachother... and then we wont have to hear it all over again.
