Melodramatic or not, it's the truth of the matter.

My sister is a girl and she's got lots of friends.

I fail to see how you can believe that males are the only ones with lovers or friends. I've got friends and I've had lovers. You just have to be assertive.

Ugh, if they're gonna dump you than they were never really friends with YOU in the first place.

Probably not. But here are the real questions. Are you having fun as who you are? And Are you hurting anyone?

Generally? Yes, I love who I am now. And I'm not really hurting anyone...anymore, at least.

Then to hell with anyone who doesn't get it, or doesn't give you respect. You deserve a life and love and happiness, all of it, just like we all do.

And for what it is worth, I would be proud to call you a friend.

While, in theory, I agree with you, that makes for an awfully lonely life.
