Silly thing. There's not really a NEED to check in, you know. Everything is going very well. We got the flat! So we've been busy the last few days shopping for furniture and linens and things. As soon as we get it set up, you and Mum will have to visit. Promise?

Steph moved out of her flat in London. I think she's looking for a place here in NYC too. If you happen to see her ex around anywhere, kick him in the... well, wherever. yes, I'm laughing. Not teasing, though.

Of COURSE there is, there's always a need to check in, you know how I am. Your Mum sends her love. I'm glad you got the flat, was it the one you were looking at after all? Of course I'll come and visit! Mum too. It will be nice to see where you're living after all. What's the neighbourhood like? Pleasant I hope. Does this mean you'll come home with an American accent? I'm teasing.

She moved out? Well Daniel wasn't good for her anyway. I will be sure to do that however, I may just save the trouble and hex him.

I meant because things are wonderful. Nothing to worry about, etc. Aww, I send mine back to her. We're all extremely excited about the flat. It is the one we went back to look at a few times. It's expensive, but SO worth it. The neighbourhood is really nice. Lots of huge flats that people are leasing for a week or two at a time (usually while their own places are being fumigated or painted or whatever it is they get done) so we have ever-changing neighbours. That's okay though. So far everyone seems really nice. And oh yes. I'm going to wind up with an American accent! (Technically? I think the boys are all going to wind up absorbing mine more.)

Yes, she did. She hadn't gone home in a few days and he'd gone through her things. When she confronted him, he slapped her. She moved out the same day. If you DO see him, ask him how it's possible to walk when your ex crushes your... you know, nevermind. *BIG drawn smiley face*

Hex away. She's kind of dating Sweep now. He's one of Caz's bandmates. He's really good to her, so that's a nice change.

Oi! Gotta run. We're heading out to look at more stuff at thrift stores. They're REALLY cool.

The I <3 NY things were very interesting. Mina though the hat was the best and has taken to wearing it for work. What is it with you two? Again, I'm teasing. I'm glad that your neighbourhood is nice, hopefully some people will stay long enough so that you will be able to make friends. It will be interesting to hear everybody's accent, I look forward to it.

Sending the Muggle guidebook to you with this letter. Good idea. I can find my way around most of the neighbourhood and all of the Broadway area. It's kind of crazy there. Times Square is really cool. We don't shop there often, but we do walk around it a lot. Haha, yes, we'll have to tone down. Maybe we should put you up in a hotel? Kidding, Daddy.
